AdMoment, the developer of a real-time bidding platform (RTB) for mobile display advertising has secured $3 million in a Series A financing round. Prostor Capital led the round with participation of e.ventures, and has been supporting the company since its foundation. A pool of other investors (Fastlane Ventures and European business angels) provided the rest of the funds.
AdMoment is the leading player on the Russian market for programmatic mobile ad buying today. The company has developed its own RTB technology enabling advertisers to automatically find impressions with a relevant audience for highly efficient ad campaigns. The technology identifies those combinations of values for the selected parameters (e.g. location, time, device type, connection type, app category) that are most likely to identify a consumer of the desired target group.
AdMoment was founded in August 2012 and launched its first ad campaign in January 2013. Within nine months, over 100 campaigns have been launched for advertisers from various industries including automotive, entertainment, media, retail, real estate and e-commerce. The customer list features such names as McDonalds, Visa, Samsung Apps, Toyota and other well-known brands.
Today, the company is the largest buyer of traffic in mobile applications on the Russian market: every month, the platform processes approx. 5 billion ad requests while its revenue is growing by more than 20% a month.
The new investment is geared towards further product and business development.
